Notice of Non-Renewal Form - Tenant Provided Notice

Please complete the form below to provide your notice of non-renewal of your lease. Most of our leases require a 30 day notice, however your lease may have different terms (for example 60 days).

It is strongly recommended that you refer to your lease to ensure you are providing the proper amount of notice. Your lease can be reviewed under the Documents tab on your Tenant Portal.

If your lease end date is less than 30 days away (or less than the required days to provide written notice listed in your lease), please review the month to month clause in your lease agreement carefully to ensure you fully understand when your lease will officially end.

If there are multiple tenants on a lease, please have only one tenant submit the written notice of non-renewal. All tenants listed on the lease will be notified of our receipt of the notice of non-renewal.

DO NOT SUBMIT THIS FORM IF:

  • all tenants listed on the lease are not moving out.  If only one tenant is leaving but others are staying, this form does not apply.  Please discuss with your management team about the possibility of being removed from a lease.
  • your lease end date is greater than 90 days away.  Your notice will be rejected if this is the case. The only exception is if you have been approved for an early termination of your lease and have paid the reletting fees.

Is the end date listed on your lease agreement within the next 90 days?  (If your lease end date is greater than 90 days away, your Notice of Non-Renewal will be rejected).

Expected Move-Out Date

Please refer to your lease to confirm the last day of your lease agreement. You have the ability to move out earlier than the last day of the lease but remember that you are responsible for rent, utilities and lawn service through the entire last day of the lease agreement (if utilities and lawn service are tenant obligations).  To avoid any of these charges being charged back to you, please ensure all services remain in full effect until the lease has fully expired.

Forwarding Address

We need a forwarding address in order to process the final accounting of your security deposit. Per Texas Property Code, we are obligated to account to you for any security deposit deductions within 30 days once BOTH the following two actions have occurred: 1. All tenants on the lease have surrendered possession of the property; AND 2. A forwarding address has been provided in writing.

If you do not yet have a forwarding address, you will have an opportunity to provide it again through an online form sent to you before your move out date. However, we cannot process your security deposit until we have a written forwarding address. As outlined above, keep in mind that the time allotted for the landlord to account for your security deposit does not begin until the forwarding address has been provided and ALL tenants have officially vacated.

The accounting for your security deposit is sent to you via USPS Certified Mail to your forwarding address.

NOTE: If there are multiple tenants on a lease, only ONE forwarding address will be accepted and all correspondence will be mailed to that address.
